The Challenge is open to Emirati nationals aged between 18 to 40 years old.

Yes, high school graduates can apply, as long as they are within the age range of 18 to 40 years.

Yes, you can apply as long as you are aged between 18 and 40 years.

To apply for any track in the challenge, begin by creating an account on our platform through this page . Once your account is active, you can start filling out your application form and save your progress at any stage. You have the flexibility to log in to your account at any time to review, edit, and save updates to your application. When you are satisfied with your application and ready to officially enter the challenge, make sure to submit it before the deadline on May 08, 2024.

  1. New Project Idea Tracks: There will be 2 different tracks for business idea submissions.
  2. Existing Prjects Startup Track: Aims at recognizing and awarding the top 3 startups.
  3. Existing Projects MSME Track: Targets selecting the top 3 Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).

No, participants should apply to the track that best represents the current stage. Since each track is tailored to a specific stage of business development, it's not possible to be in two stages simultaneously. Please review the New Project tracks and the Existing Project tracks to determine which track fits your business stage before applying.

The challenge timeline includes the application period, evaluation and selection process, mentorship and training phases, and the final pitch event. The challenge’s application deadline is May 08, 2024, and the winners will be announced on June 05, 2024, at the awards ceremony.

Winners of the challenge will receive a range of prizes valued at up to 2 Million AED, including cash prizes, entry into an incubation or acceleration program, mentorship and coaching, access to networking opportunities as well as media exposure. The prizes are designed to help winners establish and grow their entrepreneurial ventures.

Here is the breakdown of cash prizes for the New and Existing Projects Tracks:

Aspiring Entrepreneurs Track: There will be 2 different tracks for business idea submissions.
  • New Projects Track: There will be 2 different tracks for business idea submissions.
  • Tracks: There will be 2 different tracks for business idea submissions. First Prize: AED 100,000 for the first-place winner in each track.
  • Second Prize: AED 75,000 for the second-place winner in each track.
  • Third Prize: AED 50,000 for the third-place winner in each track.

Existing Projects Tracks:
  • Tracks: Best Startups and Best Micro, Small, and Medium-sized Enterprises (MSMEs).
  • First Prize: AED 200,000 for the first-place winner in each track.
  • Second Prize: AED 150,000 for the second-place winner in each track.
  • Third Prize: AED 100,000 for the third-place winner in each track.

No, there is no fee to participate. The Entrepreneurship Challenge is free and aims to provide accessible opportunities for all Emirati students and entrepreneurs.

Both teams and individual entrepreneurs can enter the challenge. Team applications should designate a team leader as the primary contact who will be submitting the application form on behalf of his/her team.

We have 3 judging rounds.
  • Round 1:
    • Judges review and rate applications based on the judging criteria listed on our website.
  • Round 2 (For Shortlisted Applicants):
    • Invited to an online judging session.
    • Pitch your idea and business model to the judges.
  • Round 3 (For Finalists):
    • Invited to a physical Demo Day event.
    • Pitch your idea to the final judges.
    • Final judges select the winners for each track.
